Picking carry idlers are designed for conveyor applications where a deep troughed belt profile is not required. These frames are commonly used in belt feeders, recycling facilities, and certain food processing conveyors where material on the belt needs to remain accessible for sorting or manual processing.
The configuration provides stable belt support while allowing operators clear access to the conveyed material.
Flexible Roller Configurations
Picking carry idler frames are available in 3-roll, 4-roll, or 5-roll configurations. They typically feature narrower wing rollers compared to the centre roller, allowing effective belt support while maintaining improved access to the belt surface.
Depending on the application requirements, frames can be supplied with standard rollers, impact rollers, or a combination of both to suit specific loading conditions.
